We are regularly called upon to install generator systems in awkward locations, and have therefore developed our own unique design of storage tanks that offer the required quality and flexibility.
We ensure that our tanks will fit anywhere, but will always be bunded and meet the British Standard. We always recommend steel as the material of choice for tanks as these can be designed with security and locking systems to help protect the contents from theft, which is a growing problem for anyone storing fuel in today’s market.
Overall we take a very practical approach to fuel security and environmental concerns. All pipework is isolated at the tank by a solenoid valve in a locked chamber. The solenoid valve is only operated once the generator is called to run.
We also recommend that fuel lines are run in either double skinned bunded high pressure flexible flue lines, or on welded and pressure tested solid stainless pipework.

Fuel Polishing & Cleaning
It’s important that you don’t just maintain your generator but maintain the fuel you are putting in it. Fuel polishing is very important for making sure your generators keep running at their optimal performance and work when you need them to.
Why should you have your fuel polished?
As an organic compound, diesel fuel deteriorates over time. As this process happens it leaves sediment in your diesel generator’s tank. Fuel polishing restores your diesel to optimum condition, removing the sediment and other fuel contaminants. Without regular fuel cleaning & polishing, your generator’s power will be reduced, the filters and pistons will become clogged and you may even suffer complete generator failure just when you need it the most.
With regular fuel polishing, all the sludge, water, bacterial growth and any solids or debris in your fuel tank are removed. If you wait to long to have your fuel cleaning it may need replacing completly

HVO Fuel – A Green Alternative to Diesel
Are you looking for an alternative to “dirty diesel” for your generator? We have a solution that is compatible with ALL Diesel Engines.
Renewable Diesel is not a biodiesel. Known as an HVO or Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil, it is made from the same raw materials as biodiesel, but has a chemical structure comparable with conventional red diesel.
Our HVO Fuel is made from 100% renewable raw materials. It is a drop in, direct replacement for diesel (on road and off road) and can be used in all diesel engines. It is an enhancement of HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), a low emission fossil-free diesel alternative that significantly reduces NOx levels up to 30% (also reducing adblue intake), reduces CO2e levels up to 90%, PM levels by 85% and improves local air quality, making the air cleaner! It is also odourless!
For every litre of gas oil/diesel you are changing to Green D+HVO – this is equivalent to 2.73KG of CO2e saving which will significantly help towards net zero goals.
Ultra Low Carbon – 90% CO2 Reduction
Using ECO+ Renewable Diesel in place of red diesel reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%*. Like any fuels, burning biodiesel releases CO2 into the atmosphere, however with biofuel made from waste products, the emissions are absorbed by the next cooking oil seed crop. This massive CO2 saving takes into account the whole life cycle of the fuel from the collection process, to refining and final delivery, so CO2 absorbed by the seed crop cancels out the emissions released through using the fuel. This is not the case with fossil fuels, as it would take millions of years to the CO2 to be absorbed again.

Every delivery comes with its own ISCC EU certificate proving it is refined from 100% renewable inedible waste and residue feedstock. ECO+ Renewable Diesel does not contribute to deforestation or compete with food production.
